FAQ | FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Would my organization be eligible to apply?
Please see our list of guidelines to learn whether your organization is eligible to apply and fits within our funding priorities. In general, we make grants to organizations that are geographically close to board members so they can make site visits to determine eligibility.
What is the process to apply?
Most of our giving is guided by our own research and through organizations we proactively identify and support. We consider a limited number of unsolicited requests from organizations that align with our mission and geographic focus. If you have reviewed our guidelines and believe your organization is a strong fit, you may complete the online application form. Submission of an application does not guarantee review, response, or funding.
Due to the high volume of requests, we are unable to respond to all applications and will only contact organizations we wish to consider further. All applications must be submitted through the online form to be considered. Selected organizations may be asked to provide additional information. Grant applications are reviewed at our biannual board meetings.
